I was so excited to write the scene I was working on–it was the inciting incident 😁–and it all just started to flow. The novel is now sitting at a total of 6922 words. Until Friday, unless I feel compelled to sneak in a couple of writing sprints before then.

It’s been a bit of a high-pain day with the CRPS. I managed to add another 885 new words to Running The Asset‘s manuscript (MS) 🥳 That’s even with a major quandary over the past-participle of the Scots word skite. According to Modren Scots Grammar it’s skitit, which is exactly how I say it (skiyt-ih–the ih is to show the glottal stop for the final t). The MS is now sitting at a total of 5205 words.
