When Jez took over the Water Water Everywhere challenge, I thought I’d give it a go. There’s nothing more I love taking photos of than bodies of water. And, as we tend to go on holidays to beaches and visit towns with lochs and ponds, I figure I’ve got a few pictures to keep me going–not as many as my wonderful husband, but enough.

For this first post, I’m going with the River Clyde. The Clyde runs through the heart of my hometown of Glasgow. I have fond memories of walking along the river with my Granda and of breaking into the Glasgow Garden Festival (after the festival was over) with him–he wanted to add a couple of memorable stones to my stone collection. Yep, I was a weird kid.

The banks may have changed a lot over the years, but the feeling of joy and calm still remains.
