It was a 44KM (27.25 miles) round trip. The trip back was a wee bit brutal (for our second bike ride in a decade): head wind and uphill. We’re knackered now ? but it was a fun ride.
We’d seen them when we were on the motorway when we moved down here, but couldn’t see how to get to them. That was a decade ago… I have to say they are magnificent up close.
