Day Trip to The Kelpies by Bike

Royal Navy veteran from Scotland. My journey into writing started with a screenwriting certificate program at UCLA Ext. Since then, I've worked as a freelance content writer, erotica author, proofreader, professional beta reader, and content editor. I'm now working hard on my dream writing career: romantic suspense author. When I'm not writing, I can be found drinking too much coffee, obsessing over yarn, and planning world domination with my husband, jezbraithwaite.blog, and our squirrel army.

Good you could get out for a goodly amount of exercise or are the Kelpies just down the road πŸ™‚

    1. It was a 44KM (27.25 miles) round trip. The trip back was a wee bit brutal (for our second bike ride in a decade): head wind and uphill. We’re knackered now πŸ₯± but it was a fun ride.

That is a long way for a ride but well worth it thanks πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Awesome! I’ve heard of them but never seen them. πŸ™‚

    1. We’d seen them when we were on the motorway when we moved down here, but couldn’t see how to get to them. That was a decade ago… I have to say they are magnificent up close.

    1. I didn’t realise how brave until we had to do the climb back home 😬🀣

      1. I can imagine that πŸ˜ƒ
