Author Journal 2nd – 8th September 2021

Hiya folks! Here’s this week’s journal entry, and it’s going to be a swift one. It’s my birthday today (Friday); there’s cake and an obscene amount of washi tape and journal stickers waiting for me to get stuck into (awesome gifts from my beloved Jez).

My Writing Goals for Last Week

How Did I Do?

Man, I got so close. I wrote 4383 words and deleted a fair few on the way, but my end tally was 39,293 words.

This Week’s Goal

  • Taking it easy.
  • Set up September’s goals and Kanban board.
  • Refresh my business and marketing goals (***See the Ko-Fi button on the side? I only just added it to the site last night–it’s been on my Kanban board for almost a year. Hence the refresh.)
***Buy Me a Coffee at ko-fi.com

Speaking of goals and the Kanban board. I exceeded my goal for August! The goal was to hit 37,000 words. So, more cake is needed to celebrate that! 🍰 Take a slice; there’s more than enough to go around. 😊

That’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by, and take care.

  1. Hey well done, Susan! That’s fantastic progress. Since you mentioned biscuits a moment ago, I will take that slice of cake 😁🍰 and here’s to another cracking week. ✍✍✍
