It’s a new month and the start of a new writing week–if you’re a weirdo like me and a new week starts on a Thursday. So, yay, happy weirdo new week, everyone!
Let’s jump right into the review.

My Writing Goals for 25th November – 1st December 2021
- Write 3000 words for Running The Asset. (Hit 72,358 total words)
- Block out the next two scenes
How Did I Do?
Things didn’t quite go according to plan last week. I had to change my work plans (nothing bad, just a change in home stuff) and had to cut a day’s writing out of my schedule.
But, even with that in mind, I feel like I did pretty well. I didn’t block out the two scenes as hoped (you’re not surprised, are you?). But, but, but, I did block out a sequence! FYI, a sequence is a series of tightly connected scenes. In this case, it was a series of four scenes (now you are surprised. I was, anyway).
I just missed the 3K word goal for the week. I came in at 2,947, taking the manuscript to a total of 72,305 words.
This Week’s Goal
- Write 3000 words (taking me to 75,305)
- Block out the next sequence (it’s the sex scene, including the run up and aftermath)
That’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by, and take care.
Susan
