SLDS: Taking a Break for Love and Health

Hey everyone,

I’m taking a much-needed break this week to celebrate my 21st wedding anniversary (and 27 wonderful years together)! ? It’s an extended break, so there won’t be a new SLDS prompt until Friday, 7th June. This time away will give me a chance to recuperate (health issues have been flaring up a lot lately) and catch up with all of your superb blogs—something I’ve dearly missed doing lately.

Last Week’s Highlights: Evading Surveillance in a Crowded Market

But before I put my feet up, let’s spotlight last week’s fantastic entries for “Evading Surveillance in a Crowded Market.” Huge thanks to Jez, Kevin, Marie, and Claire; your creativity continues to amaze me every week!

Here’s a selection of my favourites:

Blending in with Jez

Check out Jez’s post for more time-fusion blending in.

Hiding in Kevin’s Kashmir Market

Check out Kevin’s post for more market evasion.

Duck and Cover with Marie

Check out Marie’s post for more ducks and evasion.

All Eyes on Claire

Check out Claire’s post for more thrilling evasion in the market.

Looking Ahead: SLDS Returns on 31st May

I’ll be back with the next SLDS challenge on Friday, 31st May, and I can’t wait to see where our creative journey takes us next. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy the break, and I encourage you to keep sharing your art and stories!

Till next time, stay awesome,
Susan x

Thank you so much, Claire! We’ve had an amazing break… one where I did absolutely no work for the first time in years! It’s been a valuable lesson in the link between relaxation and creativity (and productivity!). ?

  7. fromthealdergrove – Hiker, camper, and love the outdoors. I research old cookbooks, newspapers, and journals. I like to try recreating things I discover. Sometimes I recreate old recipes using modern techniques and then write about what I've created. In real life, I work in technology as an system engineer and for fun, I dabble on Etsy. I create custom pocket spice kits for camping, hiking, thru-hiking, travel or work. Take a little spice with you on your next adventure! More information can be found over on my About Me page!
