I thought that it was about time to get back to the site. Instead of jumping back in with one of my regular post series–I’m still taking a break from work at the moment–I wanted to do something a wee bittie different.

Even though I’m more comfortable aiming down range than I am down a camera lens, I’ve decided to step out of my comfort zone and take part in this week’s Lens Artist challenge–guest hosted by my beloved, Jez.

In Jez’s Seeing Double post he challenges us to share our photos of reflections. Other than reflections of me in museum displays 😂, I didn’t think I’d have many. But, I was wrong. Yay!

Refilling the Creative Well

In my last post, I’d mentioned that I’d be spending the rest of the week refilling my creative well. One of the things that do it for me is fun music videos.

Now, don’t go thinking I like pop. I don’t. I can’t stand it. I love metal, rock, and some folk-rock. Never pop. But… J-pop group WORLD ORDER is a different matter. These guys make me smile and laugh and have the ability to turn a not so great day into a smiler.

With a lot of us still in lockdown, I wanted join in with other bloggers who are sharing fun/beautiful/uplifting posts.

After having a wee keek at my photo archives, I found a photo that always makes me chuckle. It’s from Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow. This has got to be the best heavy metal album cover, ever. 😂
