Taking Aim

I thought that it was about time to get back to the site. Instead of jumping back in with one of my regular post series–I’m still taking a break from work at the moment–I wanted to do something a wee bittie different.

Even though I’m more comfortable aiming down range than I am down a camera lens, I’ve decided to step out of my comfort zone and take part in this week’s Lens Artist challenge–guest hosted by my beloved, Jez.

In Jez’s Seeing Double post he challenges us to share our photos of reflections. Other than reflections of me in museum displays ?, I didn’t think I’d have many. But, I was wrong. Yay!

Awesome post, Sweetie ? All the shots bring back great memories ? Catching the reflection of the sun on the railing is inspired ? great seeing Kali & Stormy down at the canal ?

Well, how could you NOT Susan?!?!? Loved your entry of course and so nice to see you back at L-A. I recognized a few of your subjects from previous Jez posts, and I especially loved your armadillo. It looks exactly like one and I’d not seen it before. Terrific.

Thank you so much, Tina! It’s a struggle to find subjects that Jez hasn’t shared–we do all the trips together–so I thought I’d find views/perspectives he doesn’t have. I’m glad you liked the Armadillo, it’s quite the sight up close. Thanks, for stopping by ?

Hi – I didn’t realize Jez wanted reflections and I did my post in a different way – but I guess there is room for variation
And I like you photos a lot
The canal in the glasses was a top one

I’m so sorry for the late response–had a long battle with the flu. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments. I think I remember your post, it had the double yellows on the road… I really liked that one ?

Oh so sorry you were down with the flu!
I had a mild case of it earlier this month (blah!) and glad you have recovered enough to get back online a little
And wishing you a nice end of the month ????

Welcome back Susan! I hope you join us more often to give us your perspective of your trips. My favorite is the full circle. Well done!

Thanks so much, Anne! It was so much fun taking part, I’ll certainly keep my eyes peeled for the next prompt I have some pics for. I’m sorry for the really late response–the flu knocked me flat on my back.
