Embracing Individuality: Lessons from a Yellow Rhododendron

Advertisements

Hey there, lovely people,

I hope this finds you all well. For today’s Cee’s FOTD, I’ve got another floral treat for your eyes. If you thought rhododendrons only came in shades of white, pink, or purple, think again! 🌸➡️🌼

Spotted on one of my wee walks, this yellow rhododendron caught my eye and truly stole my heart. There’s something about its golden blooms that makes you stop and admire, isn’t there? Just look at those petals – like a ray of sunshine, even on a cloudy day.

Now, being that I’m neck deep in the edits for Running the Asset, I can’t help but draw parallels between the vibrant individuality of this flower and the characters in the stories we read and love. Like this yellow rhododendron, each character in a story has a unique shade and essence that sets them apart and makes them memorable. It’s a great reminder to always embrace what makes us unique.

Have you ever encountered a flower that made you think of something more profound or unexpected? I’d love to hear about it!

Sending you all golden vibes and hoping your day is as radiant as this beauty, Susan

You right about the yellow flowers. I always seem to get more comments when I post yellow flowers. I agree with Aletta about the memory part as well 🙂

Yellow flowers make everyone that bit happier. I wonder if that’s why yellow roses are a sign of friendship.
