It’s been a bit of a high-pain day with the CRPS. I managed to add another 885 new words to Running The Asset‘s manuscript (MS) 🥳 That’s even with a major quandary over the past-participle of the Scots word skite. According to Modren Scots Grammar it’s skitit, which is exactly how I say it (skiyt-ih–the ih is to show the glottal stop for the final t). The MS is now sitting at a total of 5205 words.
Thanks for joining me on this adventure! Stay safe.
Awesome work sweetie!!!
Flankingstons!
You go girl or is that gurl or nighean….I am confused. Should have paid more attention to Jez’s lessons
It’s good to be a wee bit crazy, or so the voices in my head tell me. 🤪 Thanks, muchly for the encouragement, you 🤘
Not a word I’ve come across! I’m having a little battle with the odd Afrikaans expression today – lucky I have a bilingual beta reader. Okay back to bash out a few more words… You take care, Susan.
It means slide, slip. Oh, I bet it’s a lot of fun infusing Afrikaans into your work–hard work, mind you. Wishing you many more words, you take care, too 😊
