Word Count Update 18th April

It might be Monday, but this is my Friday in my tapsalteerie (Scots word meaning topsy-turvy) world. I don’t tend to write on the last day of the week, but I’m nearing the end of Act 2B, and the shit is really starting to hit the fan!

Today I added a further 1,682 words! Pretty awesome for a half-day, even if I do say so myself!

Running the Asset‘s manuscript is now at 118,509 words.

[If you want to see some more Scots words in action, check out my Things in Scots: Running the Asset post series.]

Author: Susan T. Braithwaite

Royal Navy veteran from Scotland. My journey into writing started with a screenwriting certificate program at UCLA Ext. Since then, I've worked as a freelance content writer, erotica author, proofreader, professional beta reader, and content editor. I'm now working hard on my dream writing career: romantic suspense author. When I'm not writing, I can be found drinking too much coffee, obsessing over yarn, and planning world domination with my husband,, and our squirrel army.

    1. Thanks, Aletta! I’m stopping for the next two days. Complete nothingness–apart from a wee bit of gaming with my feet up 😊

      1. That is great! Enjoy your down time😊💐

      2. Thank you! I took full advantage of having nothing to do 😄
